For people who own a website

Your best advertiser is already reading your site.

Programmatic networks fill your page with strangers, then tell you what you earned. Perch does the opposite. You set the price. Your own readers see a slot that says "Advertise here now", and the ones who run a business buy it.

Free to set up. No traffic minimum. A 25% service fee applies only when an ad is actually paid for.

The mechanic

The buyer is already on the page.

Your slot carries a visible invitation. A reader who runs a shop, a studio or a service can book it in about two minutes, without a salesperson, a contract or a minimum spend. That is demand your own audience creates, and no exchange can supply it.

What the big networks will not put in writing.

Every hop takes a share and reports the result afterwards. One hop, at a price you set, is the entire difference.

Reasons, in the format they belong in.

Wanted: nothing

No plugin. No SDK. No account manager.

One script tag goes anywhere you can paste HTML. WordPress, Squarespace, a hand written index.html from 2009. It renders a slot and gets out of the way.

For sale: your terms

Charge four pounds a day, or forty.

You name the daily rate. If nobody bites, lower it. If your space fills up, advertisers bid for the next opening and the price rises without you negotiating anything.

Notice

Nobody live ever gets bumped.

A higher bid wins the next slot to free up, never the one someone is already running. Bidding costs nothing until a slot actually opens and you accept.

Public interest

Your readers keep their privacy.

The embed sets no cookies and profiles nobody. If your site is currently cookie banner free, adding Perch keeps it that way. That is a promise about architecture, not policy.

Services offered

Fair display, in proportion.

Share a slot and display time splits by what each ad pays, spread through the hour rather than clumped. Everyone sees the maths before they commit.

Terms

Stop any day. Keep what ran.

Advertisers are billed in advance for the period they bought and can cancel whenever. Nothing is charged for a day an ad did not run. That cuts both ways, and it is why they trust it.

Two advertisers sharing one slot. Turns are dealt out in proportion to what each pays, and the cheaper ad is spread through the cycle rather than dumped at the end of it.

Three steps, and the third one is waiting.

Mark out the space

Pick a size, set a price per day, and decide how many advertisers can share the rotation. Takes about a minute.

Paste one line

Drop the script tag where you want the slot. Until someone buys it, it shows a quiet invitation to advertise instead of an empty box.

Approve, and get paid

A reader books the slot. You see the ad and the exact payout before deciding. Approve it, and it goes live in the next rotation.

Pick a shape that suits your page.

Drawn to scale, so you can see what you are actually giving up. Size is fixed once a space is created, because advertisers build their artwork to fit it.

Do the arithmetic yourself.

No projections, no averages borrowed from someone else's site. This is only multiplication, shown with the fee taken out rather than hidden in a footnote.

Drag any of the three. Nothing is rounded in your favour.

Statement, per month

Advertisers pay you$240.00
Service fee, 25%−$60.00
You keep$180.00

The service fee covers card processing, payouts, hosting and support. It is charged only on money that actually arrives. An unsold day costs you nothing, because there is nothing to take a fee from.

The awkward questions, answered plainly.

My site is small. Is it worth it?

Probably more than a programmatic network, which pays by the thousand impressions and needs scale to mean anything. Perch sells a day of display at a price you set, so a few hundred engaged local readers can be worth more to one nearby business than ten thousand strangers are to an ad exchange.

Who actually buys these slots?

Usually someone already looking at your page. The slot carries a visible invitation, so a reader who runs a shop, a studio, or a service can book it on the spot. You can also send the link to a business directly.

Do I have to accept ads I dislike?

No. Manual review is the default. You see the creative, the link, and your exact payout before you decide, and you can take a live ad down later with a reason that reaches the advertiser. Auto accept exists if you would rather not be asked.

Does this add a cookie banner to my site?

No. The embed sets no cookies and does no visitor tracking. It requests whichever ad is currently live for your space and renders it. If your site needs no consent banner today, it still needs none after installing Perch.

What is the catch on the 25%?

That it is 25%. It is deducted from each payment to cover processing, payouts, hosting and support, and it is shown on screen before you accept any ad. No setup fee, no monthly charge, and no fee at all in a month where nothing sells.

Open a space

The slot is empty until you put it there.

Set it up in a minute, paste one line, and let the invitation do the selling. Nothing to pay until an advertiser does.
